  • The 2025 Great Western Ski Trip is on the record books. Read all about it and be sure to sign up for 2026. We’re going back to Alta!
  • Our classmate, Ron Weiss, died on January 28, 2025, following a year’s long battle with a rare malignancy of the lung. Ron was a lifetime supporter of the arts and an original member of the class Arts Legacy Committee. In Ron’s honor the Committee has established a matching fund for donations to the Arts Legacy Fund through June 30, 2025. See the home page of the class website for more information and a link to the donation page. Ron’s obituary will be published when it becomes available.
  • Read Dave Gang’s brilliant eulogy to his close friend and classmate, Ron Weiss
  • Minutes of the October 5, 2024, Class Committee meeting are now available.
  • The Arts Legacy Committee met on February 8, 2025. Minutes from the prior October 26, 2024, meeting were approved and are now available on the Arts Legacy page.
  • The Give A Rouse Committee is busy working on nominees for 2025. Presentations will be made on the weekend of October 11, 2025. Please review criteria for the award and nominate a worthy classmate.

This image showcases three views of one of the most distinctive objects in our skies, the Horsehead Nebula. The first image (left), released in November 2023, features the Horsehead Nebula as seen in visible light by ESA’s Euclid telescope, which has contributions from NASA. The second image (middle) shows a view of the Horsehead Nebula in near-infrared light from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, which was featured as the telescope’s 23rd anniversary image in 2013. This image reveals a beautiful, delicate structure that is normally obscured by dust. The third image (right) features a new view of the Horsehead Nebula from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope’s NIRCam (Near-Infrared Camera) instrument.
